Search for 'cycle' or 'cycling', etc - it's common issue with the actuators, and has been covered on many occasions here.

mine does this ..... but i presume its coz car aint been used for months??

actually this is a common problem with eb-au1 it is caused by a faulty door lock usually one of the front door locks or tailgate the trick to discovering which one it is is simple unlock with key on a door and try unlocking or unlocking with remote if it works then it is that door im oretty sure thats how u check

it can also be caused by a battery with poor charge - which is why i actually said my answer

After some help regarding my smartlock/keyless entry. I have an XH XR8 which when I bought had a stuffed remote. So I bought a new one and tried to program it by pressing the rear demister 3 times in five seconds but it won't cycle the locks, although the demister light comes on on the dash. Any ideas? If I use the key in the lock it works fine, just the remote won't work. Is there a fuse or relay that could have played up? Thanks
