Hi all, having a problem with my aircon., (climate control) When accelerating, it defaults to demist/foot well. One of the causes could be a faulty "check valve" in the vacuum line to the vac. reservoir

Where the f$%k is this check valve??? Please don't tell me it's behind the dashboard

All other lines hold 15 ins Hg when tested, except the line to the vacuum reservoir, which drops slowly, and the direct line to the manifold (vac supply)

Has anybody had any problems with the vac. reservoir?

Yes. Sorry. I checked it out and it works fine.

This is what I can see atm. I figure the check valve is in the line to the vac reservoir.

Would the line that is marked "cabin temp vac supply" be to the sniffer tube in the control head?

According to the manual, it should hold a business card to the port. Mine doesn't. I have taken the convoluted tube off, and tested for vacuum, and the tube has collapsed. I have also cleaned out the filter as best I can, and the sniffer slot.
