Hi guys just got a quick one, own a 2004 BA XR8 Auto, and when I brake I am getting a sound of escaping air from under the dash. It is intermittent, however is getting worse. Once I hear the air noise loudly I loose all power boost to the brakes. I read somewhere that there is a valve between the brake pedal and the booster on the firewall that klaps out after time. Has anyone heard of this or am I up for a booster? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Brake Booster replacement time.

Sweet SWC have replaced the Booster, yep it has brakes now. The problem I have now is that the Brake lights stay on and theres no Cruise Control. I did the change as per the Workshop manual and the Rotator De-Coupler is correctly positioned. If I really pull back on the Brake pedal the lights turn off, and I tried resetting the Brake pedal switch, but the lights stay on. I had a look for a replacement switch, on Ebay ( Genuine Part ) the the plunger on the switch is a lot longer that the one on the car. Any thoughts?
