All depends on what pistons /rods you use, how much work you do yourself, level of engine builder, amount of work you are actually doing to the engine and what engine is it. |

Hey mate these are in NZ dollars. Biggest thing for me is time - I've been building this for years and it's still not in the car. Engine alone has cost so far:
$2000 rods and pistons $2000 headwork $400 head studs $300 cam and springs $900 injectors I can't remember how much I paid for the racing balancer. I haven't included gaskets, bearings, boring, balancing, linishing, assembly (cause it's still in the shop and I haven't seen the numbers), or anything past the manifold. All depends how far you wanna go. Reliable, fast, cheap. Pick two of those three and go with it |
