Hi guys, was wondering if anyone knows where I can get second hand lowered springs for 1997 EL falcon ( fairmont ) I don't want to go to low roughly about 350 to 360 from centre of the hub cap to the edge of the guard, I'm in Adelaide if that helps. :D

I am selling the grey pedders from my car... They are lower than the red springs... Can't measure it now as they're out... But it looked like this:

This was also fitted with the lowered sportsryder shocks... They have a lower spring carrier which drops the height even further...

They're already packed and ready to ship if you're interested...

Cheers,
Tim

For the front I also have a set of std Springs on lowered shocks... Should be halfway between the photo of my car and std... I don't have a photo of what it'd look like because I bought them and didn't end up using them... Using std Springs on pedders sportsryder shocks will keep your ride quality and wont stiffen it up...

Cheers,
Tim

yeah, stock as a rock that's pretty much where I think is a good height. Still allowing me to load up the boot without scrapping.

"Low" Springs are basically what is fitted to the XR range. Get a set from an XR6 and you will have a "low" factory ride height (King Lows will do the same). On "Lows" you can use the standard struts and Shocks.

Ok I'm parting out a ef

The rears are red pedders and front are light blue colour I'm guessing louvels? Cars quite low can barley get a jack underit

I notice in the ef cornering on 17s all round with 235 rubber the tyre would rub in the guard anything i should look out for when fitting these to a ea?

By the height you have described, it sounds like they are Superlows and yes Blue clour does sound like Lovells (good springs).

Everything should bolt straight up with no issues. Don't forget that you will probably need the camber kit out of the EF as well.
