my xh exelorator cable keeps getting stuck inside the firewall causing the engine to rev its head off is there an easy fix

Replace the accelerator cable.
You could try putting carbon powder into the cable but if it worked it would only be a temp fix. Cable is probably frayed. |

just another thing is the accelerator cable at the pedal supposed to be attached to the pedal other than the round ball nipple because when it gets stuck the cable is just sticking through the hole in the pedal and i have to flick the lever back to normal position at the fire wall

i meant throttle body sorry and yes have taken cable off at throttle body and its working fine im just sick of spending unessisary money lol
