Hey guys just recently bought a Ba Fairmont and the stereo didn't work so I pulled it out and replaced it and now the tacho and speedo heat gauge and fuel gauge doesn't work would anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened? I have checked all the fuses that I know about and non have blown and there is power to it and stuff just none of the gauges work

i cant say for sure on the fuel guage i think that was wired from the tank to the cluster then the cluster sent the info on to ICC and PCM via CAN., Temp, speed and tacho and a heap of the lights on the dash are sent to the cluster via the CAN bus.
Were they all working before you changed the stereo/ICC? try re seating the connectors to the BCM,cluster and pull the ICC out and re seat it too. Rob

Yeah I have tried pulling out all the plugs and plugging them back in like the lights and stiff work in the cluster just none of the gauges

OK is there anything showing up on the 2 LCD's or are they blank?

Check fuses 29 (10A) instrument cluster Top row, 2nd one in from the right and fuse 27 (10A) also in the top row 4th from the right.

probably going to be no point but i'd check the 2 fuses i mentioned i can simulate the trouble your having pulling one of the fuses gives me lights on the dash but all stay lit after starting, and no gauges. pulling the other i get no lights but have display on the screens.
failing that may have to wait for one of the smarter guys to call in and shed some advice. if i think of anything else ill drop back in. Rob
