wow that sucks so if happen to get a brand new geniune bosch dizzy would i still need to match up the gear with aux shaft or can i just leave the new gear on as is

from what's been mentioned ... yes match up gear with aux shaft, even with a new dizzy

If you are using a genuine Bosch dizzy, you should be fine with the new gear that is attached to the new dizzy. If you have any concerns, just swap the drive gear for the old one.

Bosch gears are a bronze type alloy, Chinese dizzys have a steel gear which can damage the Aux drive gear.
