hi all,

I have an Au Fairmont ghia with the grey interior. The car has only done 100,000kms and hardly gets driven or with passenger's. Anyway, I have replaced 3 seatbelts in the past 2 years. but I need to either fix or replace the rear passenger drivers side belt, it is stuck in the extended position. The rear hardly ever gets used.

The local Ford wrecker rang around and can't locate one. Anyone's on a fix or alternative?

Thanks

Pull it out and give it a clean.

They fill up with dust and lint and jam.

It's already out, stuck fully extended and won't retract at all.

Do I spray some silicone spray into the mechanism?

if it's out it WILL be hard to get it to retract coz of angle ya holding it on. blow some air into it, to blow dust out. then try pulling/letting it go so it frees up some. can take time.
