when putting in front electric seats into a ef fairmont is there a way to bolt the recliner motor onto a normal recliner and get it working if you cant get the electric back frames.

started putting in electric seats did drivers still yet to do passenger but just transfered the same trim for now and the recliner is a normal frame and while the recliner motor bolts line up the gear doesnt line up so just put the winder back on for now.

is there a way to get the electric motor to recline a back that had a winder or do you have to get electric or can you just put the matching cog where the winder was and itll work????

also is there a way to reupholster the seats so fabric and cushion is new but still looks same as before? what other seats bolt onto the ef/el seat frame?

what model seats have the velour black fabric in the au/ba/bf/fg and is it possible to put the back in a ef or even transfer the fabric and cushion to a ef frame

Nothing in a black velour, your best option is to find a seat that feels right and get an auto upholsterer to re-trim.

As for the electric recline and base adjust, your best option is as above, find a seat that matches your criteria and feels good, then get the mountings modified to suit your car.

the material is best sourced from an auto upholsterer, what you can buy from normal fabric shops isnt very durable
