Just picked up 2002 AU V8 manual ute, not running the best.
So doing normal checks.
Pulled off the intake hose and this was the pretzel
that was half way along it. Looks to have been
like that since new.

Gone now, a 2 1/8
welsh plug in its place. :D

Prob not like that since new. Seen that happen to quite a few after the hose clamp was overtightened. SHould run s**t better now it's not sucking unmetered air.

Runs a lot better since I replaced the fuel pump as well :( .

The thing you need to remove to take the tank out, ouch

Yeah I know it's a prick. Same for all Utes AU up. Had to do my BA pursuit. So I made a hatch in floor for future pump changes.
