As title says I can't get the front bumper off my BA Fairmont ghia, seems as if the previous owner has rounded the s**t plastic screws under the hood for the bumper and the wheel arch screws will not move at all or unscrew... The only way I could take it off is if I drill through the screws?

You mean the scrivit things? in my experience they are always a Prick to remove anyway, drill them cut them leaver and unscrew them whatever suits you best and get some new ones! Rob

[not you rob] ... to remove the scrivits i use a smallish flat headed screwdriver to leaver the centre head up so i can then grab em [pliers what eva ya want. but i try not to dfamage em] & then 'pop' the other section out.... i'm a bit of a TAVO ... so i reuse em again .... & again ... & .. you get the idea and yes they are a pain in the frackin a***! |
