Hi all,

I just bought an XG spac and it seems to have a problem with the trans.
when decelerating in any gear (1,2,3 or drive) the revs drop strait down to idle and it coasts like its in neutral. (no engine braking)
I just changed the filter and flushed the old oil out.
I also replaced the Inhibitor switch with a new one.
It didn't fix anything.......
The trans functions fine shifts nicely, doesnt slip or make any noises....

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

welll .... with the yello peril .. i found going from the 3.23 ratio diff to the 3.45 ratio, that the car accelerates/deaccelerates very well. the car would as you put it 'coast' with me foot off the accelerator when the 3.23 ratio was used. i'm presuming me other wagooon with the 3.08 would 'coast' even more.

If I'm doing 80 in drive and take my foot off the gas the revs die right down instantly to idle.
if I then drop it back a gear or two it does nothing just sits at idle while the car coasts....
It will drop back gears in drive if I put my foot down.
