Hi all i have a bf fairmont i6 4 speed auto.

It has all the usual mods extractors, cat, exhaust, underdrives, f6 intakes, k&n, thermostat and sct x4 with a generic tune

So ive gone to a mate property for some skids on an old shed concrete slab. If you boot it and hook it you get wheel spin easy but if you go to do a foot on the brakes skids it will spin the wheels slowly but i cant get it to rev over 2000rpm. Is this the torque tag protection strategy because its getting a brake signal as well as throttle? If so is it possible to remove the torque tags myself using the sct x4?

Thanks everyone
