I'm working on a 1996 EL Falcon GLI Sedan that has a dead battery and was just wondering if both the EL and ED Falcons use the same battery specifications in voltage, dimension and cranking power. My current one can no longer turn the starter motor properly after sitting for more than 1 month of not being driven, despite being driven 5 days ago for 10 minutes for refueling. I think it might have something to do with the sulfates forming on the plates and causing them to have direct contact or just forming on the plates.
Sometimes there are shop catalogs with pages torn out and the only car that comes close to that model is an older one in the shop catalog. |

Supercharge list the EF/EL as a MF50 and the EB/ED as a MF51. Same specs apart from the Terminal Posts.
