Hi. I have a 1979 Ford escort panel van with a 2L motor in it and I want to fix it up and keep the original motor and running gear in it just make it a bit more powerful not alot just a bit and not spend alot of $$$ and suggestions are welcome

Extractors, 350 holley, reground cam and dual valve springs. easy
I got my springs off bill mann and they were for a holden red motor.

It went like stink, till the diff blew, again and again and again

Thank and how much does all this cost about?
And would I have to change the difference as well?
