I want Power Rack & Pinion , The Bigger Brakes, and even maybe run BA offset wheels on the front at least. Yes, this guy has, into an XE. Crazy methodology but interesting all the same. If I was to do it now I'd think about stitching in the floor firewall and inner fenders etc from the BA. As surely that would be a cleaner approach to having 2 to 3 layers of stiffening. . But I think the wiser approach will be to find a xh and just pretty much bolt up the cross member from the later falcon.

XH are basically XF with E-series front rails and inner/outer panels reshaped to fit. Mix and match to build whatever you want but still needs plenty of commitment and skills. . |

I have the tools and have built 5 speedway cars from a pile of tube. Time and commitment at my age is the problem. ..I should know better...

Your dash can go straight in, fit an AU/BA ute rear axle and go the floor handbrake.*Raptor* wrote: XH are basically XF with E-series front rails and inner/outer panels reshaped to fit. I think the firewall below the plenum ledge might be E series as well.It was brought up here a while ago that the trans tunnel was E series too - in the XG/XH to fit the larger BTR 4 sp autos - I don't know if it's fact or not. The XH's do get the handbrake base floorpan, only the floor shift ones I think, I don't think the XG/XF's get this.
