Hi there!
My car is a Ford Falcon 1996, station wagon, Gli. One week ago, some of the front headlight stopped working, I decided to check the fuses just in case. I have no idea of mechanic, I obviously touched where I shouldn't have to... that's why I hope some of you could bring me some help, I would be entirely grateful! I wanted to check how was the lights fuse, I took it off and switch it with he Airbag fuse which is next to it, randomly, to see if the problem was because of a fuse. It was still not working, so I just re put each fuse exactly where they used to be. The problem is... I shouldn't have taken off the Airbag fuse because since then, the warning light is flashing when I drive... It's doing the 5-2 code, but I have no idea how to reset it or switch it off. Do you think the airbag just stopped working? Is it easy to resolve it by myself? I would appreciate so much if someone could explain me very clearly how I could do it. I have read about using wire to the ground... but didn't really understand it 100% . Many thanks for your help and time ! Noe |

Best you explain what you touched, and how did you retrieve the code, on early models the air bag light would flash the code on later models you had to ground the air bag pin to ground in the diagnostic connecter. code 52 is for intermittent low battery voltage.

Quote: I have no idea of mechanic, Number one problem here Quote: I have read about using wire to the ground... but didn't really understand it 100% Number 2 problem here. Might I strongly suggest you see an auto electrician. If you happen to set the airbag off, it's basically "goodbye car" because they make such a mess........... |
