Hi guys just started looking to purchase a reasonably late model XR6 (non turbo) open to suggestions as to best suggested year model. Sub 20k budget to spend... please let me know your thoughts as to which version seems to have best reputation for performance and minimum known manufacture faults etc. Let me know what you think..

Fg xr6. As the xr series progressed they got better. We didnt have many come in with stand out problems just normal stuff like center diff bush and upper outer rose joints, we see quite a few fg and fg2 xr6's at the track (non turbo) and those that have them love em.
