Its a 97 Option 20 Sedan so it has all the police upgrades, original police log books etc with service history, 250,000kms
I've been slowly cleaning it up with no real goal in mind other then turning it into a clean cruiser. My question is, are these that rare at all? ive see variations in build numbers online from as many as 140 to as little as 67. (i imagine a lot have been stripped, crashed etc.) As E-series are getting older and older, I imagine these cars will become increasingly harder to come across as the years roll by, what are your thoughts? worth holding on to? {DESCRIPTION} {DESCRIPTION} |

I used to own one, they are no different to a non police el v8 except for maybe hd brake pads and an incrimental speedo(2km instead of 5km) most likely a bogged up roof where aerial/light holes used to be.
They aren't rare unfortunately. |

There is a bit more to them then just that....
Mine has the following, 6 Gauge Dashboard with special police speed calibration mode. One piece Alloy tail shaft ABS Brakes Electronic speed limiter removed Dual Airbags Tickford suspension 3.23 LSD Additional interior lighting External transmission cooler External power steering cooler Dual Horn High series BCM to control lighting functions etc Heavy Duty Alternator They were really optioned up quite a bit more then a bog stock EL with a Windsor. |
