Hey guys, iv been looking into fuel pumps and was set on a walbro 255 for my turbo el. Roughly $100.

I also found a 340lph fuel pump on ebay for about half the price. I know its not much a saving but why pay $100 for something you can get for half the price that is equal quality plus a bigger pump.

Just wanted to know if any one has used one of these pumps or knows about the brand. Would it be worth the saving or not?

I have also decided to run a 12:1 fmu with standard tune aswell.

Do a Google search and you will find very little if nothing about this pump. Ebay ad claims Japan but the manufacturer is actualy Chinese.

Walbro is a known brand and if you want to ungrade from that, look at Denso and Aeromotive, all intank pumps.

Do a Google search, there is no reviews on them anywhere by anyone who has used them. What does that say to you.

How do you come to the conclusion that they are the same quality as a Walbro?

What do you mean by standard tune?

I know there are no reviews, hence why I'm here... Asking a community if anyone has any info on them...

I didn't mean it as they are the same quality, but they could honestly be just as good, if somebody has used them then they might be able yo give them insight. If you havnt then you cannot say they arnt good quality. Even tho there Chinese doesn't mean they aren't good quality.

I mean as in the stock computer that has a standard tune on it?

Don't you think that with all the "Car Guys in the world and Google searches all the web. that you think that someone, somewhere would have posted something on the Web. Good luck.

For the sake of $50.00, use the Walbro. They are a known quantity. Be sure you get a US built unit as there are copies out and about that are branded Walbro.

This was reponded to in your other thread ford-turbo-supercharger-f22/turbo-el-xr6-standard-ecu-t130731.html . You still want to go down this track?

So far as I can tell, the KEMSO pumps are the exact same unit as re-branded by Aeromotive. The clue is in the "340" part name.
https://www.aeromotiveinc.com/product/3 ... set-inlet/

Unfortunately I only found out about the Kemso the week AFTER I ordered a Walbro.

I also had to make a tool to remove the sender/pump assembly. For those playing along at home;
Using a piece of inch wide Steel strap - mark it out at 2", 5", and 2".
Cut a slot in each end.
Put it in the vice and fold it over so it has 2x 2" prongs and is 5" across.
