Hey guy. Been lurking for a while. Mostly can sort out my own issues but this ones got me scratchin my head.
Aplogies if its been covered, I did do a few searches with varying results / opinions on similar problems.

The wifes BA wagon (145000km) was starting to have an intermittant reverse issue. Sometimes not wanting to select. Usually vould be rectified by turning off and then starting again.

So i decided it was time for an auto service. They flushed it out, said that it was very dirty and had traces of coolant.

When we got it back it was worse. It now goes in to 2nd or third gear lock when hot. Still has the reverse issue!
It seems gearbox is going into limp mode when hot which i read can happen.

Auto trans mob rekon, no worries fix her up for $2800.
Im thinking maybe some s**t has been flushed into cooler and new radiator / cooler may sort it??

Any advice or personal experience on this?
