Hey guys been a while since i posted last,

Here is my question - for those who understand different types of seals and their application, can the above oil be used on polyacrylic type seals?

Reason being is that in the ford manual it is stated that only Viton seals are to be used with LSD oil because of the additives which will break down other types of seals.

I have an AU3 xr8 220kw and i am currently replacing the half shaft seals and pinion seal due to leakage, also doing all the bushes and wheel bearings while i am there (side note)

So does anyone have any educated insight into this pro gear oil and the effect it has on polyacrylic seals, im spewing as i have already installed the new seals in the sides but i got thinking as to why repco/kelpro supplied me with 2 different colour seals but same part number, one is brown and the other dark blue.
I have looked at the online kelpro catalogue which gives me the type of seal for that part number (poly), confusing part is the colour difference. Part number 98258 listed for IRS.
The same part is listed for BA,BF and FG half shafts.
My concern is the blue one may be silicone based which will just tear to bits.

I just want to get it right before it goes back together and not have to do it again!

Cheers
