Hey guys just wonder what the best way to install the harmonic balancer back on while the motor is out without the motor turning on you. Got a friend who use to build there engines back 20 years aga at fords he said all they used was a rattle gun to install them on. i read some where but remember where that you may break off the front of the crank by using this method.

Take starter motor off

Insert large screwdriver into teeth on ring gear

Brace said screwdriver against block

Put on balancer and do up

Replace starter motor
