Hi all,

I've just rebuilt the bottom end of my 5.4L modular engine. Almost ready to put the heads on...
But have a problem.. I purchased some second hand heads which have been resurfaced and cleaned. Now I have put the cams in but they are quite tight. I managed to free up two quite well but the other two new a breaker bar to turn them..

Can I ease the camshaft caps with some wet and dry to try and get some clearance or is it a machine shop job?

Also the lifters in the old head can move up and down with no problem but the lifters with the other heads are rock hard and havent seen oil.. any ideas here?
