Ride: EF falcon AU motor

Location: kambalda west
WA, Australia

any help would be appreciated when i start up my EF falcon with a AU motor it just revs at 4000rmp and doesnt stop all vac hoses are conected and no leakes and ive tryed disconnecting the battery with no luck but all i can think of is the throttle position sencor any other suggestions

Doubt it, you have a leak somewhere on the intake side. Try pouring water over where the intake manifold bolts to the head. If the revs drop, your intake manifold gasket is stuffed.

Check all your Vac hoses again, heater tap, MAP, Fuel reg, Brake Booster, etc.

Idle control valve stuck wide open?

Check your accelerator cable. If it is tight or has a frayed wires, that can cause the problem too.
