Hi

Will probably go au engine but wondered anyway

How do you wire up the ba ecu so engine runs on it's own?

What wires in the ba ecu harness do you need to run the engine on it's own?

Has anyone got wiring diagrams they can help with?

How do you connect the ba engine ecu harness to a ef or el wiring harness so the ba ecu runs engine and the ef/el ecu runs the dash and gearbox and rest

Can you use a au throttle body with the cable

Thanks

Q- How do you wire up the ba ecu so engine runs on it's own?

A- with lots of wires . . . . ....

Q- What wires in the ba ecu harness do you need to run the engine on it's own?

A- relevant ones ... .. ok power/earths/accelerator/engine/fuel/thermo's ... thats the gist of it .. may have missed something :?:

Q- Has anyone got wiring diagrams they can help with?

A- yes

Q- How do you connect the ba engine ecu harness to a ef or el wiring harness so the ba ecu runs engine and the ef/el ecu runs the dash and gearbox and rest

A- my understanding is only basically what was mentioned previously is used. there IS some software in the PCM that MUST be modified so it can run with PCM only. ie power & earths & maybe thermo's etc :?:

Q- Can you use a au throttle body with the cable

A- if you want to use the BA/BF/FG motor to it's fullest potential ...... NO

Thanks

i currently have a BA Futura thats waiting to be stripped .... it's an auto, but i also have a manual PCM. there's a guy down here that i need to catch up with [recommended by our right honourable Grumps] to remove security etc. the wiring loom from the car can be stripped down to suit the AU or EB  & what's left & suitable will bo into her BF .... not much
