Hi guys ..
if anyone is interested I have the solution for anyone with an AU .Fairmont, Fairlane , LTD or even BA BF FG with LPG only and you want that Traction Control light to go out ..
go to a wrecker grab 6 injectors doesn't matter if thet don't even work anymore ..
hook them to the injector Plugs tape them back against the plug wire so dirt doesn't get into them and presto.. youve now stopped that TC light from coming on by giving it what it needs ..iinjector pulse..
I tried plugging the ones on the motor in but that effects compression ..
this is the easiest and most cost effective way to do it
My TC light now omes on at startup does its self check and goes out ..acitvates and flashes when theres lack of traction etc etc ..
just thought id share after I was defected by a ford dealer for rego as the light is on itcomes under an ABS error .
so It was either make it dual fuel or no rego ..
hope this helps

best way to disable traction control in an AU is to break the circuit from the ABS unit back to the PCM for Torque reduction. I cant remember the pin number, but the ECU reduces Torque based on the "torque reduction request" from the ABS unit. Potentially, you may need to break the engine torque output pair as well if the ABS unit does trac control using the brakes

That should leave ABS running just fine, but with no torque reduction/trac

I have a 98 tickford spec 220kw series 3 with traction control but can easily smoke the tyres without it cutting power ,it maybe a tickford thing bt I did notice im missing a fuse under the bonnet (nr the coolant tank) so it maybe as simple as pulling this fuse out .i think its the 2nd from the top one of the bigger square fuses/relays. When I push the T.C button it has no click to show its engahed on or off..but the little wheel lights up on start up
