I`m converting my XL Sedan to 5 stud disc brake front from a ZC-ZD and have the stubs and rotors off the fairlane already. I`m aware the taper is probably different and will have to get some sleeves, anyone know where i can purchase the sleeves from in brisbane? I`m also using the factory tear drop alloy mags off a later model toyota cresseda and an 8" mustang diff and need to get some spacer plates to move these away from the discs and drums for clearence. I`ve been told you can buy these spacers with five studs and five other holes so you can bolt them to your car using your existing studs, then bolt your wheels to the other studs on the spacers. Does anyone have any info about this? I`ll also be fitting a 289 windsor, C4 and probably an XR-XT non-boostered V8 master cylinder. Is there anything else i need to watch for?

Would be a good idea to fit a brace on the lower chassis section near the steering box ( in front of it ), some XP's had these.

Thanks for that. I figured i would have to do that as there`s quite a large open area there without sufficient support for the v8 torque.

7 and half years! Best. Thread mine. Ever.
But seriously, I believe you can get the tapered sleeves from Castlemaine Rod Shop - google them, they do lots of this sort of stuff. Good luck with it.
