Loom wise, you shouldn't need to swap anything else out rearward past the drivers kickpanel. Rear power windows just need the door looms to the body pillars.
You will find the ABS plugs are different - I fitted the later EL Bosch 503 to my XR6 wagon - much smaller unit.

Yeah the front looms are changed, I kept the rear loom though. I think part of the amount swaps required was going from EF to EL, which mean the ECU pins were different and there had been minor revisions on most items.
I did the ABS swap aswell which should help a bit, its definitely a much smaller unit, I've never noticed how huge the old system was! |

Did you leave the auto wiring into the engine bay ?
You may need it if you go to an AU engine later on, considering possibly the extra wires involved.

Yeah I swapped all of the looms between the car. All I did was unplug the auto gearbox harness and run a manual one, with a J3. Does the AU motor use some of those parts?

Well going to the AU later on, you'll need extra wires for the coilpacks, the cam sequencer, and the crank sensor, and possibly other things too.
There's not enough wires on the loom to the dizzy to account for this - the auto wiring is the simplest as you have around 8 lines from the ECU to the engine bay already in place to use.

Hmmm true, well the wiring is all still there which is perfect. I think you can just swap the dizzy into the AU block, but it can't hurt to be extra prepared right

Well it gives you options when the time comes. If you've ever had to manually lay wiring through the firewall, it's a god send to not have to do it.
