Hi, first off sorry if this is already covered in other threads but I am wondering if the EECV in an Ef can adapt the timing to suit 98 fuel.
I recall somewhere in a StreetMachine mag years ago mention that it (or at least EECIV could relearn or adapt to different cams etc over a period of driving the car with new items fitted.
I have an EF2 ghia with headers and exhaust, air box and intake etc and run it on 98 so am interested if the ECU can adapt to it or should I be looking for say a J3 chip?
Cheers.
