Hi i was just wondering how much power does a clutch fan actually rob on my ea fairmont would it be worth changing over to a Thermofan set up?
My mate at work a big ford fan but right in to his old ones said it wouldnt be worth it?

Hey I enquired about this at Battens Motosport www.bptmotorsport.com

They say a possible extra 10HP at the wheels. Theirs was a kit which is very neat!

It is worth doing, it is a cheap mod (around $200, $150 for 2nd hand EL fans and $50 for the thermo kit) for about 5rwkw gain. It also means the car has better cooling capacity and quieter when the fans aren't on.
