Greetings

The other day i sat down and broke off the panel with the seat control switch off the side of my BA xr6 driver seat. Though its fairly easy to replace, ford quoted $220 for a new one. Ive had a look around my local parts dealers and they also give me a price im not too keen on.

Recently i found a driver seat for a FG XR6selling online, complete with everything (rails, airbag, chair control switch thing that i broke) going for $50, looks pretty similar to the ba seat in design..

So im wondering if it would fit? Would it be as simple as unbolting the old BA seat and bolting in the FG seat? I assume power plug would be the same?

I have FG XR seats in my BA RTV, so yes they fit fine.

I swapped the base frames across though as the plugs were different

Simple procedure, also beware differences in airbags (e.g. side bolster bags in the new seats, not in the old, so simply disabled (not connected)).
