G'day All,
Have a EB falcon Speedway car. Looking to see what power people have got out of a completely standard ECU as class requirements. All I will be adjusting will be distributor and Vernier Cam gear. Current Mods are standard bottom end, 94AB Cylinder Head, decked 40thou, minor porting clean up around valves, stage 3 crow cam, Vernier cam gear, double valve Springs, pacemaker 4480 extractors, 3inch exhaust and just pump and reg for 98 Octane plus booster which will see 106. What power roughly should it make at the wheels. Manual with 4.11's and 15inch wheels 235/60 15 Cheers |

By saying 'completely standard ECU' , I gather you mean no J3 chips can be used to fine tune the engine?
Can you use an ED XR6 300kPa fuel reg and change to AU injectors? You're going to need more fuel in the top rev range with a bigger cam. I reckon you might be pushing to get over 150rwkw without a chip to correct the fuel and spark.

I think 150rwkw can be achievable. I got 144rwkw without J3 chip/AU injectors, but I was running XR6 300kPa, manual box with 3.23 diff, Wade 1674 and timing advanced for 98RON. In saying that, not sure if the Dyno was being nice or not.

I will be using a sard adjustable fuel reg and bosch 044 pump. Injectors I would have to find out if I can go AU. So AU injectors first straight up to the EB style injection? No chips are allowed in the division. Hoping to achieve just over 200rwhp, hoping so haha

From memory my EL ran a little richer after the swap, I could smell the petrol more than with the E-series injectors. Not sure if it was placebo or just ECU relearning fuel map or something. Throw it on the dyno and you will definitely find out what powers you're pulling. Good luck

i had 180rwhp with my au xr6 hp,
was an auto , with full zorst, K+N and an extra hole in the airbox, also did a 14.9 1/4 not sure how much more you can get though.. maybe a few hp here and there.. are you allowed to modify the head? as a port match and more compression could yield some gains

Yeah nice. Yeah I decked the head for more comp and ported around the valves so will be interesting to see how it goes. I'll be happy with 200rwhp to be competitive
