Hi guys ,
I have ford falcon 2006 car ,, today i was driving when i was reversing my car ,, after finishing that i put in drive mode but the car was still reversing nd then i switch off my car and it didn't started ,, i tried many times ,, the front meter shows still in reverse mode and back lights also lighting when we reverse the car . I changed gear into parking and neutral but nothing positive,, it didnt started . Can u tell what will be the fault ,, is it a big fault ,, and can u provide any mechanic contact no. Thanks Tejveer |

Thanks Tejveer First things i would check are that that 1) the cable is still attached to the selector arm of the box under the car properly, and the outer cable is also clipped to the car and box Fix for this, clip the cable back on and put a few zip ties on to hold it on unill all zip ties break and falls off again OR drill out fit a bolt where it clipped on fit a bolt and 3 nuts to hold it there as follows BOLT, SELECTOR ARM, NUT, SELECTOR CABLE, NUT, NUT 2) that the cable hasn't broken at all, have someone move the gear stick while you watch the end under the car if it no moves broken cable Replace the cable 3) last place to check is a PITA is the cable is attached to the selector stick and hasn't popped off FIX here is as per number 1

Yes , u was right sir ,, it was gear shifter cable fault ,, it was broke ,, any how mechanic fixed it ,, i asked him ,, should i change the cable ,, he said this one is ok now ,, no need to worry ,,
Should i replace with new one ,, or this old ll be good in future ,, Thanks Tejveer |
