Just a question, I have a BA xr6 n/a 4spd auto sedan and I recently need to get a new tail shaft (center bearing was dead, and when I removed it the rear cv opened up and guts of it fell out)

Had a look on gumtree and was a refurbished shaft advertised as [ Ford Falcon Driveshaft BA-BF to suit auto ] and picked it up, it looked completely identical to the one I just took off mine.

I get home and went to put the rubber flex coupling and slip spline from my old shaft onto the new one I just picked up as the new one didn't come with them.... aaaaaaaaaannddddd the holes to put the bolts through doesn't line up properly as the new one is slightly bigger (different size PCD?).

So im guessing that this new shaft is for a BA/BF XR8 or BA/BF XR6 turbo sedan with 4spd auto or 6spd auto ????
Just want to confirm Exactly what its off so I can re-sell it with the correct details.

This shaft was DEFINITELY off a BA? BF shafts and couplings are different.

Coupling needs replacing too.
