no it has three, one +ve which is activated by the doors and one +ve which is constant 12v for the map lights

Actually, theres ones positive, one that goes direct to earth for the map lights, and one that is a switched earth for the doors. Means that only one wire has to go to the door switches, and if they malfunction, the light stays on, instead of shorting out, dropping the interior light fuse, and thus the smartlock.

I was correct with my first post then! Glad I wasn't going crazy!

No, the dome light ones (unless I'm misteaken).

our not mistaken, talking about the dome light.

XCH45R, if those lights have a switch on them for on and off, then you can just use a constant power wire with a fuse and earth it onto the cars body. That'll work fine!

yeah, pull the power from the dome light. As they are switched, if they're the same as the Fairlane's got.

Guys I have a serious issue I can't figure out.

I got my roof trim replaced on my 2005 BF XT sedan due to the sagging.as soon as the bloke left, it turns out my interior dome light (LED) stayed on when the doors are all closed and the door open switch will not turn off. And the two map reading lights are no longer operational. Also, the AM radio has stopped working, but the FM is fine?

Can somebody PLEASE help as the bloke who did the job has become incommunicado...

Thanks in advance
