I have a eb 302 windsor i have converted from auto to 5 speed manual i am running a au t5 tremic box with a toploader bellhousing my problem is the starter motor has changed sides and i am running a hydraulic clutch set up i just bought a brand new starter motor to suit the bellhousing problem is the starter hits on the steering rack and wont go in anyway i can get around this at all ?

you either need a small aftermarket starter or you need LH starter bellhousing like stock
