Hi everyone i have a 1994 nf v8 auto fairlane great car until winter comes. every single year around winter time or really cold days i start my car let it warm up a go to drive and then she starts the ticking noise inside the car, originaly we thought under the bonnet It then starts to feel like its breaking down like its f**k but after awhile i found out thats not whats its doing, it is jumping through gears until it decides to put itself in third and stay their until it feels like working properly again it wont change manually either i found out whats ticking its a TCM OR TCU for the trans under the dash on the drivers side on the left on the hump. but what i cant get is no one can find any faults with it on a scan it dosent do it in summer or autum its a bit hit and miss in spring i just need to know wtf is going on thanks guys
