Hey
I have a 09 FG xr6t ute and the previous owner installed some F6 leather seats into it. Which is great apart from the airbag fault codes I now get. As far as I can tell the harness under the seats would of had a seat side curtain airbag bridge plug in it originally ( as this isn't a side airbag vehicle). Whats there now is the side airbag plug. The system sees this as a fault and throws code relating to it. Has anyone had experience putting a certain ohm resistor in or replacing the bridge plug and does that remove the fault code? Would all non side airbag FGs have that plug? Cheers and TIA. |

In my limited experience with airbag systems i would say fitting the bridge plug should fix the problem, its worth a shot they shouldn't cost too much at a wrecker or pocket a part the bridge plug actually has a resistor in it
