hi

need some help here and not sure where to put this. car is ef fairmont

what boosters and stuff can you fit to the ef fairmonts stereo to be able to get adelaide fm in kadina wallaroo and moonta. it has a aftermarket jvc head unit touch screen and just runs on the standard ford antenna.

would fitting a booster or extra antenna or both help it abit. is there a chance the car antennas wiring is worn out being a 94 model, sometimes radio on some days cant pick up the local 89.3 gulf fm very well.

aunts 06 hyundai santa fe picks up the adelaide fm really good, though some days it drops out a little at times because of distance but nothing like the fairmont. other aunts 2012 4 year old challenger would no worries be same.

what would the improvements be in the santa fe for the radio and antenna to make it so much better.

would a booster affect am and would the booster block or stop it picking up fm when youre in the city really close to station with too much gain or will it be ok.

if anyone can help with booster and antenna sugestions to help fm thatd be great.

thanks
