Ive tryed to pull the rear wheel bearing off with a bearing puller i bought and the bearing puller broke.
I removed brake caliper, rotor, and 36mm lock nut. Is there anything eles holding the hub assembly on?? Any help would be great, |

You will need to take off the whole unit. ie, undoing the knuckle at the top and the bottom.
Here is a video that may help. It is on a Mustang but the system is similar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQMVND3hLPc. May pay to purchase the hub and bearing as a unit to replace, more cost effective. Thabks for the info mate the vid helped alot. It looks abit more complicated to doing the front ones.
Just wanted to add, the reason im changing the wheel bearing is beacuse a bloke at repco said it what could be making the grinding noise when i turn right. But now im thinking its the diff. I had a new tyre fitted and the tyre fitters put the wrong size tyre on it and after a few days it started making this noise. Tyres are 245/30/20 they put on a 245/35/20. Would this damage the diff? |

COULD be the Drive shaft? or it COULD be diff side bearings.
Those tyres wouldn't cause the problem. It does really sound like the outer wheel bearing though. |
