Just after a bit of advice please.....The paint on my side skirt on my EF keeps wearing off in one spot, the spot where I sort of drag my feet to get in and out of the car....I have repaired it a few times, and it happens again, I suppose it's understandable, but it's hard not to drag my feet over it at least a bit. The Panel shop has suggested that I can put a clear film over the paint which will protect it a bit from damage, I liked the sound of that, until they told me that even a small roll of it costs $500, is there a cheaper, easier solution to this issue? Or do I just need to be really careful not to touch the side skirt with my feet as I get in and out of the car?
