Planning on hiding the wiring on my V8 nc lane. I have the options to salvage parts from a nf or nl fairlane. Is there any difference between the two? I want the option of factory thermo fans wiring. I don't want to cut up my original harnesses as I will like the option of returning the car back to original.
Will also be moving battery to boot

NL wiring is setup for single winding fans rather than the earlier two speed on one fan so from that point of view alone it's a better option.
Obviously you realise you're also changing to EECV from EECIV which has other ramifications?

I plan on doing full engine bay and dash convention, ( still want physical nc dash) but will need to adapt instrument and climate controls from nc to nf/nl harness

Ok no worries. definitely go the NL harness then use the NL cluster if you can otherwise you'll be digging into the cluster to adapt the microprocessor for tach and temp.
