So with so many "Barra conversion's" goin around lately and to fine them in crapadoors is unreal I've put a Intec in my EL and I know the Twin cam I6 will fit but one thing held me back from fitting it " Cruse Control" El cable operated barra fly by wire. So has anyone come up with a way to over come this??

Think the work around was fit the electronic throttle and hardware or get the electronic throttle disabled in the PCM (while getting a PATS disabled) and run the cable throttle. I could be wrong here tho

i made a box up for the cruise in a ED and while it worked, when brakes applied you would have to turn engine off and on to reset

EA to ED are vacuum operated were the EF to AU are electronic and still cable.

Well, when you run the Barra in a ED or any other car for that matter and retain the fly by wire accelerator you can make the box up to run cruise........
