Hi all, the plastic knob has broken off from the headlight switch and was wondering what are the steps to removing the light switch. I already watched a video on Youtube on how to remove the dash sorround, but it does not show how to remove the light switch.

Hi, sorry for the late reply back.....

ok. to remove the switch from the dash-

1, remove switch knob/selector by pulling/prising away from switch - do not use a small bladed screwdriver only to remove as you may break it.

2, after removing 1st piece, you will then find another knob used for the dimmer/interior lights. gently prise this off. maybe use fingers to gently pull on it at the same time.

3, after removing that you will then see a small metal ring, which needs to be removed by unscrewing it counterclockwise. use a small flat screwdriver to get it started.

4, once that is all done you can then remove the switch from the dash via where the cluster was & unplug it.

instillation is reverse of removal. any problems or questions i can supply some pics to help you understand my dribble.
