So as tittle, i’m looking at converting a car to a Barra-T and using a complete doner car to do the process.

I’m wondering if the 4speed requires any electronic management like the ZF needs or do they work pretty old fashion/ mechanical.

Now you are probably wonder why the f*** is use a 4 speed, we’ll plan is to go turbo 400 at some stage but don’t have the 8-12g spare to do that straight up so 4 speed will do for now if possible.

Other wise my other option is find a cheap manual car for a doner.

Hi mate,no tcm for the 4 speed just use the doner ecu takes care of the 4-speed no problem,just change pats on ecu and you may need to change the extension housing to take a speed sensor.
