Sometimes a wire can be known to break or melt off inside the plug as well.
Happened to my mates BF T.

Is there a possible relay outside of the fuse box on the body somewhere that I am not aware of like they do with the older models as I was looking at my sisters BA just now and she does plus more connects on the BA. |

Ok the update on the issue has now been fixed I could not find the exact fualt but did narrow it down to roughly the fuse relay box to the light but could not pin point it so had to get an auto elec in found a guy that comes to your door.
Now he also pin pointed the fuse relay box and he also told me that this issue was known to Ford and there fix was to replace the whole box and was a joke. It turns out the wire pin that supplied power from the fuse to the headlight was not properly seated and was not making contact to give power to the low beam headlight on the drivers side all he had to do was properly clip the pin into it's position plug the fuse back in and hey presto I now have full low beam headlights. Cost to me was $100. One thing I was not impress with was when the Auto Elec pulled out the fuse relay panel out of the box there was a mess of tangled wiring underneath nothing neat like you would see in other cars so not impressed Ford. Also my advice with this fuse relay box is to be very careful removing and plugging in the fuses. |
