Hey guys,

I was just wondering on how to go with installing power windows in my Au2 Ute.

Is there a thread of how to (step by step) installation guide on here? Can some link me or if not please write below.

I’ve got everything I need including: Door trims from a sedan, wiring, p/w motor, blah blah blah.
Just needing the walkthrough guide that’s all
Obviously everything is from an Au2 sedan too so should be a problem right? Just wanted to be sure anyways.

If you have everything from the sedan, all you really need to do is replace what you already have in the UTE to what you got from the sedan. The wiring harness that is already in the Ute should have the wires to hook up the power windows.
It might be an idea what you are doing this to take OFF the front doors as it will be much easier to change over the door harness and regulators.
If you look at the bottom of the page linked here, you will see pics of how to removed the doors very easy without undoing the hinges. Much easier then trying to change the parts over while the door is hooked up and also easier to get at the harness plug from the door to the body. It would also be useful to have help to hold the door.

Anyone got a walkthrough with the electricals?

Driver side works but passenger side doesn’t... apparently I gotta wire two wires to the drivers side switch but which wire do I splice?
