Hi have to remove drivers door trim on EL Fairmont but can't remove screw in armrest under door handle. Have tried pulling armrest back while turning screw with battery screwdriver but seems to be just spinning. Was very tight to start with. Have done this without problem on other models. Do I have to pull bottom out of hole in armrest to fix it or is there another way. Window problem so need the trim off for access.

Thanks anyway, managed to get an arm up there with small pliers to grab back of nutsert while unscrewing. Door trim off without breaking it. Aluminium nutsert with steel screw so needs some anti-seize on screw and have to tighten nutsert in door.
Drilled a 2mm hole in lip of nutsert and pinned it to stop it rotating. ## RESOLVED ## |
